Phenacephorus cornucervi Brunner, 1907

PSG no. 73

Origin of culture stock: Sabah

Sub Family: Lonchodinae

Foodplant in captivity:  Bramble.

Humidity requirements:  I am rearing this species in my all-net cage, and misting the leaves every night.

Comment:  Phenacephorus cornucervi really is a stunning species.  The females accurately resemble twigs, each with little appendages coming off the body to further convince any predators that this is not a phasmid.
