Sub Family: Phasmatinae

Foodplant in captivity: Bramble.

Comment:  At the 2004 Kempton Park entomology show I purchased 20 ova of this species from the French dealers, Arthropodia.  I believe that the species is very similar to Phobaeticus serratipes, though the male has a bright blue thorax very similar to the male of Lopaphus caesius.
